They can select Share clip to send it to someone else, or Watch full video to seamlessly leave the clip and head to the original video. For each clip, you can select the three vertical dots to open the menu and then Share and Delete clip as needed. If you clip a live stream, the clip will only remain available if the creator uploads the stream afterwards. You can't clip streams over eight hours. Thanks to YouTube clips, sharing videos is easier than ever. It's an efficient method that's especially beneficial for longer videos, since you can point people towards the nugget of gold within.
You watch YouTube videos and then you share them. The only way to get around this is to use a download website not subject to this, such as mpgun. Go to the video you want to download. Download the video. Right-click the video in your browser, then click Save video as in the resulting drop-down menu.
The video will begin downloading onto your computer as an MP4 file with the name "videoplayback". Select a location and click Save. This downloads the video to your computer.
Once the file is downloaded, you can view it by double-clicking the file. Method 2. Download the 4K Video Downloader setup file. The 4K Video Downloader setup file will download onto your computer. Install 4K Video Downloader. Once the 4K Video Downloader setup file finishes downloading, you can install it by doing the following: Windows: Double-click the setup file, click Yes when prompted, and follow the on-screen setup instructions.
Mac: Double-click the setup file, verify the installation if necessary, click and drag the 4K Video Downloader app icon onto the "Applications" folder, and follow any on-screen instructions.

The feature is currently "in testing" with a small group of channels while YouTube gathers feedback. Clips have a max of 60 seconds and can be created by pressing a new "Share Clip" button. From there, users will get a draggable timeline editor to make a clip, name it, and share it via a new URL.
This video has clips enabled if you want to try it yourself. For now, the feature only works on a desktop browser, but Android and iOS support is coming "soon. It seems somewhat similar to the ability to link to a timestamp in a video, just 60 seconds long and on a loop.
