Growing up Liz had a seven-foot-long, alligator pet named Charlie Pie. Liz first got her chance to hunt a gator when she was just 12 years of age. Since then, Liz has worked as a gator hunter and travels to Louisianna during the season. Liz also made regular appearances in the reality series, Swamp People. Liz Cavalier joined the reality series alongside her childhood friend, Troy Landry. She worked with Troy for most of season two and worked as his shooter.

In season 3, Liz parted ways with Troy and featured with her new crew alongside her friend Kristi. Since then, Liz worked on the series for a total of six seasons before parting ways with the series. Alongside her career as a gator hunter, Liz also owns merchandise by the name of Gator Queen. Pickle has been hunting with her father since the time she started walking. Apart from being a hunter, she also assists her family business with duck and turkey calls. The duo will be seen moving towards the remote backwaters of the swamps and plan to get rid of the killing machines.

Edgar is ready to do his part in controlling the gator population and will also be joined by his family members Dorien and Joey Edgar.
